2021 was an extremely busy and robust year at Three River Farmers Alliance. We worked hard to adapt and learn through our 7th year in business. Our team is so excited to implement growth and continue learning more to support our local food network. The biggest thing we are amazed by each and every day at work is how dedicated our community is to building up and enjoying incredible local foods.

We invite you to weave yourself on into the local foods community by subscribing to our YouTube Channel, (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPf-RUKO8R7IRTaM3jfZydw/featured) picking a Veggie-GO order up at our new Fremont, NH headquarters, and subscribing to our Farmers Choice Box (https://www.threeriverfa.com/subscriptions/) !

We hope you’ve been enjoying food from the many producers who joined us last year. Your support allows for all of our amazing producer partners to grow and further strengthen local communities. ** Looking forward to 2022

————————————————————

In winter we daydream about all the fresh vegetables coming in a matter of weeks. Our year round CSA program, the Farmers Choice Box (https://www.threeriverfa.com/subscriptions/) , provides weekly delivery of fresh, local, nutrient rich seasonal produce. With spring just around the corner we will be working to support over 50 of New England’s finest farms to be featured in the weekly subscription. In addition to a variety of fruits and vegetables, we are expanding our fridge and pantry offerings. We are looking forward to carrying lots of great new cheeses from our longtime partner Bell & Goose Cheese Co. including their new Feta, Rockingham, and Marinated Farmer’s Cheeses.

** Serving Neighbors in Need

** Over $60k in food donated in 2021.

————————————————————

Thank you for helping us provide local, nutrient rich, local food to neighbors in need through the Three River Donations Program.. Together you supported many families through SNAP stipends, stocking community fridges, and providing for several regional food pantries. Here is a list (https://www.threeriverfa.com/donation/) of some of the incredible community organizations we partnered with last year.

Moving food from local farms right to the kitchens of local food banks and community resource centers is at the heard of Three River’s ethics and labor. We are humbled by the financial donations our community has made, and have made sure it was all used to provide free food to our neighbors lacking access to food security.

We ask, if you can, to add a financial donation to your order in the weeks ahead. Your Local Food Donations make this possibe. Click the green button below to contribute funds that will purchase local foods for food bank deliveries.

** Staff Spotlight

** We ❤️ Our Staff!

————————————————————

We would like to thank the new staff who joined us in 2021. Welcome to the team Jim, Christina, Liz, Alix, Emma, Claire, and Dan! A unique aspect of our Three River team is everyone’s connection to local foods. Our “class of 2021” has a diverse background rooted in the seacoast community including farm owners and seasonal harvesters, UNH graduates of the sustainable agriculture program, and seasoned hospitality professionals. We literally could not move this much local food without our dedicated, hard working team. We are grateful every day for their values-driven contribution!

** Staff Recipe Sharing

Our Farmer’s Choice Veggie Box subscription can bring you all the veggies that you’ve ever wanted, and maybe even some you didn’t know that you wanted, but then what do you do with all of those root vegetables?! Our Community Experience Guide, Perri Krywick, has a great recipe that makes a perfect snack or gift: Beet Granola. Even while living on the road in the southwest US, Perri has been able to supply no shortage of great videos and recipe ideas. Let us know what you think of the video and let us know how your granola turns out!

Community Experience Guide, Perri, walks us through creating homemade Beet Granola.
