Due to our move to Fremont, NH –
Exeter Pickup at 3 River on Mondays is changing locations.
Beginning Monday, September 13th:
Exeter Pickups will be located at Laney & Lu’s in downtown Exeter.
26 Water St. Exeter, NH – Municipal Lot off Water Street and Bow Street.
You can pick up your Veggie-GO order on Mondays from 3-6pm at our box truck which
will be parked in the municipal lot near the entrance of Laney & Lu.
This Pickup Location will have a $5 service fee charge associated.

vegetables using organic practices on 1 acre in Lee, NH. They promote soil health
through crop rotation and cover cropping, using clover and oats to build soil organic
matter while fixing soil nitrogen. Constantly learning new ways to improve
production, while focusing on sustainability – they use innovative practices such as
grafting, to promote vigor and combat the short growing season.

centers we partner with, to deliver food to on a regular basis.

We exercise the belief that local food is for everyone by providing nutrient rich
produce to the food insecure; simultaneously reducing waste and increasing income to
local producers. Three River Farmers Alliance has created a simple, efficient program
for providing weekly donations from our generous contributors used to purchase excess
crops at cost from local farms. We then distribute produce to local food pantries
within our community. We use additional donations to supplement credits for SNAP
eligible Veggie-Go customers ensuring all donations directly assist in the fight
against hunger.

As we near the colder months, nutrition becomes even more important. In order to
expand upon our existing services, we ask if you are able, to add a financial
donation to your Veggie-GO order this week. We are so grateful for your generosity
and community support!

Golden Beet & Arugula Salad

Salad Ingredients
2 medium golden beets, sliced thin (Harlow Farm)
1 Tbs olive oil
1 tsp thyme or rosemary
1/2 lb bag of arugula (Heron Pond Farm)

1/2 cup of pea shoots (Stout Oak Farm)
Reverie or fresh chevre cheese (Parish Hill Creamery or Blue Ledge Farm)

Lemon Dressing
2 Tbs olive oil
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt (Maine Sea Salt)
Fresh ground pepper

Directions

Peel and slice the beets thinly either using a mandolin or carefully with a sharp
knife. Add olive oil to a pan set to medium heat, toss in beets, herbs, and a pinch
of salt. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook until beets are tender.

In a large bowl, add arugula, pea shoots, and toss with the lemon dressing. Top with
beets and the optional cheese.
